Derek Beeman
Bio
Professor Beeman teaches the Revenue Generation in Sport class in the graduate Sport Management program. He has been a member of the Kinesiology Department since 2015. He was named vice president of ticket sales and business insights for the Houston Texans in April 2020 after having spent five years as the senior director of ticket sales and market analytics (2015-19), six as the director of ticket sales (2009-14), and three as a ticket sales manager (2006-08).
Derek is a results-oriented sales leader with experience building teams and maximizing productivity to meet and exceed organizational revenue goals. Expertise in the areas of sales management, customer relations, goal setting, and process creation.
