Tree of Light Assembly

The annual Tree of Light ceremony has taken place for over 95 years at ¸£Àû¼§ and is the university's oldest and most cherished tradition. Each year students, faculty, staff and the surrounding community come together to celebrate a time of giving. The ceremony began as an annual Christmas tree lighting and has evolved into a campus-wide celebration during the holiday season.

During the ceremony, several different university groups perform including the ¸£Àû¼§ Choral and the Orange Pride Dance Team. Student organizations are also invited to decorate the tree with an ornament. Hot chocolate and cookies are always served and a canned-food drive is organized to donate back to the community.
