Executive MBA Program

The Executive MBA in Banking and Financial Institutions is a unique two-year program designed to develop and enhance a candidate’s skills necessary for a position of leadership in a financial institution or regulatory agency. This program emphasizes the integration and synthesis of various disciplines to develop a student’s ability to function and make sound administrative decisions in a dynamic financial institution environment. The Executive MBA in Banking Financial Institutions is perfect for working professionals in the banking and financial services industry. While the program offers a challenging and robust academic curriculum, the EMBA is structured with your busy schedule in mind offering convenient online courses and limited in-class sessions.

The curriculum is a 36-credit hour program over a two year period with a new cohort beginning each fall semester.  Each cohort is limited to 25 students per year. An annual one-week residency at the main campus is required prior to the start of each fall semester and a one-day Conference during each spring semester. The EMBA Cohorts will network and learn from top industry leaders during the robust Leadership Lecture Series held during the annual one-week residency. These industry leaders will share their expertise directly with you providing a real-world persepective to meet the challenges of today's financial environment. Outside of these two residencies, students will complete their coursework (18 credit hours each year) entirely online. See  regarding supported browsers and operating systems.

The University in cooperation with the Graduate School of Banking at SMU in Dallas, Texas will allow graduates of their program to obtain credit for up to six hours of course work toward the Executive MBA.
