Process for Adding WID Designation

To meet the requirements for a WID course, your syllabus should include 4 elements:

  • A description of the writing assignments
  • An explanation of how writing assignments will align with course content and learning objectives
  • A statement about the writing process and opportunities for feedback and revision
  • A description of the evaluation process

Once you submit your materials to the committee, your college representative will contact you with feedback and alert the registrar to add the WD designation.
