Academic Programs

The College of Sciences provides a robust selection of Undergraduate Programs, as well as Graduate Programs, and multiple baccalaureate and graduate health professional tracks in the new Office of Medical and Allied Health Programs. The College of Sciences is comprised of 8 academic units: Agricultural and Industrial Sciences; Biological Sciences; Chemistry; Computer Science; Geography and Geology; Mathematics and Statistics; Physics; the Medical and Allied Health Program: and the Nursing Program.

Highlights

• Faculty members in the College of Sciences have been recognized nationally and internationally for their expertise through national grants and awards, publications, and presentations. 
• Undergraduate research is encouraged through partnerships with faculty members. 
• Students in the College of Sciences have presented and published nationally and internationally. 
• The Mathematics Tutoring Center provides free tutoring in mathematics and statistics courses. 
• The College of Sciences collaborates with the College of Criminal Justice to coordinate the program in Forensic Science. 
• The College of Sciences houses the 福利姬 Center of Excellence in Digital Forensics and the Daniel Reeves Center for Mathematics Education. 
• The College of Sciences is home to the multidisciplinary Medical and Allied Health Program, which assists students in their pursuit of baccalaureate and advanced graduate degrees in medical and health related professional programs. 
• Departments in the College of Sciences annually host state and regional conferences and symposiums.
